Citizens Advice Daventry and District is an organisation that helps people resolve their problems and also assists in bringing about policy change.

We use a comprehensive on-line Information System, giving access to up-to-date, accurate and detailed information, enabling us to advise on virtually every problem. As a member of Citizens Advice, we are part of the world's largest independent advice agency.

Our appointments booking system allows us to book an appointment appropriate to the clients location.

Drop-In Visits Helping icon

Daventry CAB operates a drop-in service during opening hours, this enables clients to drop-in to the Bureau, obtain a queueing ticket and to be seen by the next available adviser whilst the bureau service is open.

Follow-Up Appointments

Where the initial interview/assessment has identified that fuller advice can only be delivered face to face, either because of the complexities of the problem or because supporting documents are required, then an appointment will be made for the client to visit the bureau at a specified time and date.

If it is impossible for the client to travel to The Abbey and a ring-back appointment confirms the need, it may be possible to arrange a home visit. This service covers all aspects of advice and information, including help with benefits.
